CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra is a DVD player that can play DVDs in HD, 4K Ultra 4K Blu-Ray Disc format and has Dolby Atmos Adaptive Plus, DVD-to-Digital Converter (D2C) functionality in order to keep the CD audio and video experience on top of all platforms with no compromise to quality sound. It is also equipped with USB 2.0 type 1 port, USB 3.0 Type-A connector, an Ethernet LAN port and provides support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac & Bluetooth 5.1b/b. PowerDVD Ultra looks really nice with all the design upgrades and I think the whole package was designed around being able to do this on many different types of formats, including DVD-to-DVD (DVDTO-DVD), DVD-to-DVD(DVDTO-DVD), Blu-Ray Discs (BDIO-DVD), and even Blu-Ray Speakers (BRIO-DVD). Unfortunately for me the Blu-ray component is lacking, but maybe I'm just not thinking about this part enough when we talk about blu-rays which is something that can impact many people buying this set. Thankfully there are plenty of reasons why someone would want this set, if they are one of those people. But it isn't all they may want. These boxes are pretty big so you might end up having to re-use the same product or possibly get a newer model at some point. There is also way more customization than with anything else these days so it's definitely worth checking the customer reviews before making a decision to buy. And don't forget that there are over 500 hours of free trials with this product so there's definitely no reason not to try this out for yourself.
I purchased this set last year and it still holds very well, so even though the products don't look as good when compared to others and I still get better value, I am glad I can rely on CyberLink again. They had a great reputation online which is why I didn't hesitate in placing them in the category I selected. Also, it seems fairly easy to use, the instructions are quite clear, and I've experienced it running. If you're looking for a high-end version of something that's been a staple in the industry for years or more, then this is what you should go for.
